Track Kit - GPS Tracker with offline maps App Reviews

This app did just what I wanted it to do.

Im not your typical user...I enjoy all the features and I appreciate the possibilities of this app...Butttt, I abuse the heck out of it while at Disney.

So, Ill just say this is one of my favorite apps when traveling.

I find the user interface a bit confusing but overall lots of features!

I love Track Kit- it has a nice collection of features and the generally work well. If Im using it regularly, navigating the app is very clear. If Im not I need to re-orient myself since the interpretation and clarity of symbols is not always clear. The negative? Tracking the location is either always on or always off. I just checked to see where my battery power was going and, surprisingly the largest category is Track Kit, both in the last 24 hours and last seven days. I dont think Ive used it in the last week but I had spent some time resetting location tracking a few days ago. I guess thats when the power consumption ramped up although, Chrome is much worse. Its not OK to compare to very power hungry apps and conclude one is slightly less awful than the other. I dont understand why am my choices for this app are to either track never or always. Whats it doing fiddling around in the background, consuming 36% of my battery? Of course there are plenty of apps that allow me to track my location only when the app is open. That makes sense so I can have a choice getting the data its gathering when Im not using it, whatever that is, or not.

Does what it says it would and does it colorfully.

I love this app! Its not only useful, but also fun and easy to use!

I am still getting the Madia of all the things I can do, but so far it is very easy to use.

Gotta use it a bit more. Going to see how it goes on the motorcycle for corner progression.

Easy to use, gets the job done quickly, nice options for video & audio.

Havent had a lot of opportunity to use the app, beyond a few practices. However we are planning to use the app for a citizen science effort to map and record data about marine debris found in and around our estuary and are excited at the use of this app!

I use it out on the trails and it servers me well. Replaced my Google Tracks that never was on the iPhone.

It does most things that I would like it to do for tracking my trips, but some features are difficult to setup.

Easy to use. Works well.
